A gallery of furniture, made in New Zealand from solid wood, with the accent on unusual design or interpretations of my favorite classic designs in furniture. Timbers include: Beech, Paulownia, Tasmanian Blackwood.

I am available to create custom designs to order, depending on materials available.

The photos in the Gallery (click on buttons above) are examples of pieces made either recently or from many years ago and are one-off pieces which may be made again depending on orders taken and availability of materials but no two pieces will ever be identical.

Some items are made using recycled timber and will say so in the description.

Most pieces are finished with Teak wax, but will say in the description.

New items will be added to the Gallery from time to time as I make them.

All furniture designs must be comprised of three fundamental elements:

1:Strength, to be sturdy enough for everyday use.

2:Practicality, must have a useful purpose (not just to look at!)

3:Beauty, should have good balance and proportion and be interesting, or pleasing to the eye.
